How to Return Your Ticket For Credit

Easily return eligible tickets for Tixr Credits and reuse your funds for future purchases.

When an event organizer offers Returns for Credit, you can exchange your tickets for Tixr Credits instead of a cash refund. Credits appear instantly in your Credit Wallet and can be used toward future events with the same organizer.

Important: This option is only available if the event organizer has enabled it for your specific event and ticket type. If you don’t see a Return for Credit button, that organizer doesn’t currently offer returns for credit.

 

Steps to Return Your Tickets for Credit

Step 1. Log in to your Tixr account.

Step 2. From the main navigation menu, click Wallet.

Step 3. Select the event that includes the tickets you want to return.

Step 4. Find your order and click View Order.

Step 5. If eligible, click Refund Order.

Step 6. Select the tickets you want to return and choose Return for Credit as the refund option.

Step 7. Complete the typing verification to confirm your action.

Step 8. Review the summary and click Submit Return.

 

What Happens After You Submit the Return

  • Email confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirming your return and showing your new credits’ expiration date.
  • Instant credit deposit: Your refunded amount will be added to your Credit Wallet immediately.

  • Invalid tickets: Returned tickets will be marked as invalid and can no longer be used for entry.

 

Where You Can Use Your Credits

  • Credits are tied to the event organizer who issued them.
  • To find eligible events:
    • Go to your Credit Wallet and note the organizer's name on the credit bank.
    • Visit that organizer’s group page to see events where you can use your credits.

Important:

  • Credits are group-specific and can’t be used with other organizers.
  • Each credit bank may have a different expiration date set by the organizer. Always check the date before purchasing.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return a partial amount of a ticket or order to credit?
  • No, Return for Credit only allows you to return a full ticket or an entire order. You cannot return a partial dollar amount.
Can I still use my tickets after I return them for credit?
  • No, once your order is returned for credit, the tickets associated with that order are immediately invalidated and cannot be used for event entry.
What if I already canceled my order?
  • Orders that have been previously canceled or refunded are not eligible for Return for Credit.
