How to Use Credits to Pay for an Order

Pay for tickets, merch, or add-ons using your available Tixr Credits directly at checkout.

Note: Credits are group‑specific. You can only use credits with the same event organizer that issued them. Check the organizer name on your credit bank in your Wallet.

About Using Credits at Checkout

When you have Tixr Credits in your Credit Wallet, you can apply them toward eligible orders with the same event organizer that issued them. Credits work like cash, applying instantly at checkout to reduce or fully cover your total depending on your available balance and the organizer’s settings.

Note: Credits are group-specific. You can only use credits with the same event organizer that issued them. Check the organizer name listed on your credit bank in your Wallet.

Before You Start

  • Log in to the same Tixr account that holds your credits.
  • Confirm the event is hosted by the same organizer shown on your credit bank.
  • Check your credit expiration date in your Wallet.

Where You Can Spend Credits

  • Credits can only be used with the event organizer shown on your credit bank.
  • To find eligible events:
    • Open your Wallet, locate your credit bank, and note the organizer name.
    • Visit that organizer’s group page or event listings to browse eligible events.

 

Steps to Pay with Credits at Checkout

Step 1. Browse to the event and select your tickets or items.

Step 2. Click Checkout.

Step 3. On the Payment step, look for the Credits section.

  • If your credits are eligible, your available balance will appear automatically.
Step 4. Select Apply Credits.

Step 5. Review your total:
  • If your credits cover the full total, your amount due becomes $0 and you can complete the purchase.
  • If your credits cover part of the total, they apply first and you can pay the remaining amount with a card or another available payment method.

Step 6. Confirm your total and click Place Order.


 

After You Place the Order

  • Your updated credit balance appears in your Credit Wallet immediately.

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation, which will show how much of your order was paid with credits.

  • Credits used are deducted right away and are not refundable unless the organizer specifically allows returns for credit.

 

Tips and Common Issues

Not seeing credits at checkout?

  • You might be viewing an event from a different organizer.
  • Your credits may have expired.
    • Credits have organizer-defined expiration dates. Expired credits cannot be used.
  • You may not be logged into the correct account.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine multiple credit banks?
  • Yes, as long as they’re from the same organizer. Multiple banks from that organizer will apply automatically if eligible.

Can I split an order between credits and a card?
  • Yes. Credits apply first, and you can pay any remaining balance with another payment method.

Will my credits transfer to another organizer?
  • No. Credits stay with the event organizer that issued them.

Do credits affect ticket delivery?
  • No. Your tickets will be delivered normally once your payment is complete.
