Reports: Sales by Promo Code and Sales Summary by Promo Code

Provides multiple ways to view your sales data regarding promotions. Compare various ticket sales with promos or review overall promo usage.

Sales by Promo Code report:

1) Click Analytics on the left-hand navigation bar and then click Reports.

2) Click on the Sales by Ticket report.

3) Click Download > Sales by Promo Code.

Note: This report is not in the UI and has to be downloaded via CSV or PDF.

Definition of Sources:

Note: In the downloadable report you will see that column A represents Sale Totals and Event Totals. You can find those totals under each row labeled Sale Total or Event Total. 

Sale Total = The sum of each column for that specific sale.

Event Total: The sum of each column for that specific event.

Ticket Net Sold (All Tickets):
Definition: all tickets inclusive of non-discounted tickets sold for this promo.
Formula: N/A
 
Discounted Ticket Net Sold:
Definition: All discounted tickets sold for this promo. The quantity of tickets sold for a particular promo, is not inclusive of non-promo tickets. This is either positively affected by sales or negatively affected by refunds or cancellations.

Canceled Tickets Net Sold:

Definition: Total canceled tickets for the promo.
Formula: N/A

Orders:
Definition: Total orders belonging to this promo.
Formula: N/A

USD Avg. Discount Per Ticket:
Definition: The average discount per ticket.
Formula: Total Discount / Discounted Ticket Net Sold
 
USD Refunded Discount:
Definition: Total refund discount amount.
Formula: N/A
 
USD Total Discount:
Definition: Sum of all discount amounts performed on this sale for this promo code.
Formula: N/A
 
USD Avg. Ticket Price (Post Discount, All Tickets):
Definition: The average price of the ticket after discount.
Formula: Net Sales / Ticket Net Sold (All Tickets)
 
 USD Avg. Net Ticket Price (Post Discount, Discounted Tickets):
 Definition: The average net ticket price amongst all tickets
 Fomula: Net Sales / Discounted Net Sold
 
Usage Across Orders:
Definition: Usage percentage of promo code across orders.
Formula: Discounted Orders / Total Orders
 
Usage Across Tickets:
Definition: Usage percentage of promo code across tickets.
Formula: Discount Net Sold / Sale Total Ticket Net Sold (All Tickets)
Formula (non promo rows): Ticket Net Sold / Sale Total Ticket Net Sold (All Tickets)
 
USD Discounted Net Sales:
Definition: The sum of the net sales for only discounted tickets.
