About Fan Transfers
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Transfers between accounts are intended solely for gifting tickets to friends and family, as Tixr does not have a resale marketplace. To ensure a seamless and secure experience, we only encourage purchasing tickets directly from our website. This guarantees their validity and safeguards your purchase. Transactions involving individuals, brokers, or secondary market websites come with uncertainties, and we cannot provide support for these types of transactions.
How to Recognize Transfer Ability
Because each event is privately owned, the event organizers determine transfer and name change policies on an individual basis. This means that only some events have transfers between accounts available.
When you view an event in your wallet, you will see any available offers for your tickets, including a transfer option. If you don’t see this, then transfers aren’t available for your event.

FAQs
My event doesn’t allow transfers, but I need to give my tickets to someone else! What can I do?
If your event doesn’t allow transfers, you may still be able to gift your tickets to a friend or family member.
Some events allow the name on your tickets to be changed directly from your Tixr account.
My event allows transfers, but I’m on a payment plan. Can I still transfer my ticket?
Yes! You will be able to transfer your ticket once the payment plan has been completed.
⚠️ NOTE: Once enrolled in a payment plan, the order has to follow the specified payment schedule. Our system isn't set up to accept full payments or early payments at this time.
Can I transfer a ticket to more than one person?
Tickets can be offered to multiple friends, but the transfer will no longer be available once one of the recipients accepts the offer.
Does the recipient need to have a Tixr account to accept the transfer?
Yes. When the recipient receives the fan transfer offer email, if they do not have an account, they will be prompted to create one to accept the offer.
I typed in the wrong email when I transferred the tickets. How can I fix it?
If you sent the transfer offer to the wrong email address, you can always cancel the transfer offer and then resend it to the correct place.
If the order is refunded, where does the refund go?
Tixr can only refund to the card originally used for the purchase. If the order is refunded, the original purchaser will receive it.
Can I transfer a ticket that was transferred to me?
It depends on the event, as each event is privately owned and the organizers set their transfer and name change policies individually. Some events permit multiple transfers, while others limit it to just one transfer per ticket.
My transfer offer expired/was canceled before I could accept. What do I do now?
Fan transfers are done entirely through the ticket holders’ Tixr accounts, so our support team can’t resend the offer from our end. You’ll need to contact the person transferring the ticket to you and ask them to send another offer.
