I can't log in to my Tixr account

In this article, you will find step-by-step instructions for logging into your Tixr account, as well as troubleshooting options for common login errors.

 

⚠️ If you are having trouble accessing your tickets immediately before an event, you can present your order ID or Tixr account at the door to be manually checked in.

How to Log into Your Tixr Account

  • Click Log In in the top-right corner of the Tixr homepage.

  • A new window will appear with 3 different options → log in with Facebook, sign up via email, and log in with your email.
  • To log in using Facebook, click here:

    This will take you to a window where you will input your Facebook login credentials. Once verified, you’ll be directed back to the home page!

  • To log in using your email, fill in the email and password spaces and click “Log In.”

    You’ll immediately be directed back to the home page!

❓Still having problems logging in?

If you are experiencing difficulties logging in, the first step to address it is to determine whether you need to complete an additional step or if there is an error happening.

 

1. Are you sure you have a Tixr account?

You may not be able to log in because you haven’t created a Tixr account yet! If this is your first time on the Tixr website, you’ll need to create an account before you can make any purchases.

  • To create an account, click “log in” at the top, right-hand corner of the home page.
  • From there, a smaller window will populate with the login options. Click “sign up via email.”
  • This will populate a new window, where you can input the information requested to create an account.

  • Once you've entered your information, click “Sign up,” and you’ll be ready to go!

🌟 NOTE: Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive an email asking to verify your account. Make sure to verify it ASAP to ensure that you won’t have issues logging into the account in the future.

2. Have you verified Your Tixr account?

If you’re sure you’ve created an account, you may not have verified it! This would cause issues logging in and may prevent the reset password email from being sent (if requested).
  • To confirm your account, please look for an email that says 'Welcome to Tixr! Please complete your registration' in the subject line.
  • Inside the email, there will be instructions for completing the verification process. Once this has been done, you’ll be all set! 

3. Are You Using the Correct Email for Your Tixr account?

If you're certain that you've created and verified your account, you might have registered using a different email than you remember.

We suggest checking all your email inboxes - work, personal, spouse's account, etc. You may also want to use autofill options whenever possible to avoid creating an account with a misspelled email.

4. Are You Receiving an Error Message?

Here are some of the most common error messages you may encounter while trying to log in and how to troubleshoot them.

  • Email Address or Password is Invalid

    • If you’re receiving this error message there are two possibilities:

    • The email address contains a typo

      • This error typically occurs when there's a minor mistake in the email address, like an unintentional space before or after the email. Although it seems correct, our system is case-sensitive and may not recognize it.

      • Make sure to double-check for any typos in the email or password and try again.

    • The email address is not linked to an existing Tixr account

      • Even if you're using a valid email address, you might encounter an error if you attempt to log into Tixr with an email not associated with an existing Tixr account. The system will attempt to locate the email, and if it's not in our records, this error will be displayed.

      • You will need to create an account with that email address before you can log in.

  • User Already Exists

    • If you're receiving this error, it means you're attempting to log in via the link intended for creating new accounts. The system tries to create a new Tixr account, recognizes that one already exists for the given email, and displays this error.

    • Please make sure to input your information in the correct fields to prevent errors like this.

  • Session Timed Out

    • If you’re seeing this error, it is an indicator that you may need to clear the cache and cookies or use a more compatible internet browser. We suggest:

      • Using Chrome as your browser. (It’s most compatible with our software.)

      • Clearing your cache/cookies or using an incognito window
