⭐ Can I Transfer My Ticket?

While we’d love to help everyone transfer their tickets, the ability to do so is outside of Tixr’s control.

Because each event is privately owned, the event organizers determine transfer and name change policies on an event-by-event basis. This means that only some events have transfers between accounts available.

 

 

How Do I Know If Transfers Are Available for My Event?

If transfers are available for your event, you will see the option to transfer your ticket through your account on Tixr.com or through the Tixr App. If you do not see this, or you receive the message, ‘transfers not available’ – that means transfers aren’t available for your event.

🌟 PLEASE NOTE: Transfers between accounts are designed to be used for gifting tickets to friends and family members.

We value your experience and your safety, so we highly recommend purchasing tickets only from our platform to ensure their validity. My Event Allows Transfers. How Do I Transfer My Ticket?

Via Tixr.com

1. Log into your Tixr account

2. Hover over your initials on the top right and select 'My Events'



3. Select 'Manage Transfers' on the event card

4. Select which ticket(s) you would like to transfer and click 'Continue'

5. Enter the email of the recipient and click 'Continue'

6. You will see a confirmation upon completing your transfer

🌟 NOTE: Your recipient will receive a transfer offer to their email that they must accept. You will receive a confirmation once the transfer is accepted.

Through the App:

1. Log in to the app

2. Select the ticket icon at the bottom of the page

FAQs

My event doesn’t allow transfers, but I need to give my tickets to someone else!

If your event doesn’t allow transfers, you may still be able to gift your tickets to a friend or family member.

Some events allow the name on your tickets to be changed directly from your Tixr account.

My event allows transfers, but I’m on a payment plan. Can I still transfer my ticket?

Yes! You will be able to transfer your ticket once the payment plan has been completed.

🌟 NOTE: Once enrolled in a payment plan, the order has to follow the specified payment schedule. Unfortunately, our system isn't set up to accept full payments or early payments at this time.

Can I transfer a ticket to more than one person?

Tickets can be offered to multiple friends, but the transfer will no longer be available once one of the recipients accepts the offer.

What happens if the event gets canceled and the tickets are refunded?

Tixr can only refund back to the card originally used to purchase. When the event is refunded, the original purchaser will receive the refund – not the transfer recipient.
